During the Firmware Updater Download

Wait for the WD Firmware Updater to finish downloading before updating your drive.

If the download is unsuccessful:

1. An error message appears before exiting.
2. Try downloading the Firmware Updater again. If you are unable to download the updater after a few attempts, go to http://support.wdc.com.

If the download is successful:

Exit the download and continue to the update.
