Updating Your Firmware

To update your drive, make sure that the WD Firmware Updater has successfully downloaded on your computer, then do either of the following:

• Click Continue to Update to start the firmware update; then power cycle your WD drive.
  
  
• Click Exit and Save to close the WD Firmware updater screen. You can perform one subsequent update for this same type of drive without an Internet connection.
